The Australian vocational education sector is expanding its digital capabilities, with training and content provider Catapult Education appointed to the TAFE South Australia (TAFE SA) Standing Offer Arrangement. Following a competitive Request for Proposal process, Catapult will serve as an approved supplier of vocational education content development services through December 2028, with options extending to 2031. This multi-year panel position allows Catapult to quote on content development projects supporting TAFE SA’s training delivery.
The Catapult TAFE SA arrangement enables the business to pitch for content development projects across TAFE SA’s extensive campus network, including its emerging National Centres of Excellence in Early Childhood Education and Care and National Security. Work spans two categories: generic learning and assessment content across a broad range of vocational qualifications, and specialised content supporting the Centres of Excellence, which are backed by approximately $56 million in Federal and South Australian Government funding. While individual project volumes are awarded on a non-guaranteed, project-by-project basis, this appointment supports the active project pipeline of parent entity AdNeo Limited (ASX: AD1), which is currently valued at over $6 million.

Catapult brings more than 20 years of operation in South Australia and, together with Aspire, over 35 years of combined experience and a library of more than 1,800 units of competency. Its local presence aligns with the South Australian Government’s Industry Participation Policy and strengthens the group’s relationship with TAFE SA, named Australia’s 2024 Large Training Provider of the Year. Initial project activity is expected in the first half of FY27.
Commenting on the announcement, AdNeo’s CEO and Managing Director, Angus Washington, said:
“This contract demonstrates our business maturity and commercial execution working as planned, following our clear strategy… We look forward to partnering with TAFE SA to deliver the highest quality outcomes for the Centres of Excellence.”
By introducing tailored digital content into public sector frameworks, the Catapult TAFE SA appointment strengthens the group’s long-term revenue streams while supporting workforce development. This structural framework positions the company cleanly as it enters the new financial year.
